Jacob Rundell
2018 IHSA State Champion, Freestyle & Greco-Roman National Champion, 4x Fargo All-American, Pan-American Gold Medalist, 2021 Division 1 NCAA Qualifier.
Jacob has been with the program as a coach since 2023, he took over as head coach of the program in 2026. He grew up as an athlete with The Wrestling Academy and achieved many of the achievements listed above while representing The Wrestling Academy.

Michael Rundell
Mike Rundell is a graduate of Northwestern University where he spent two years on their wrestling team. He has been coaching wrestling since 2003 and has had an influence on many National Champions, World Team members, and even Olympians.
In 2010 he founded The Wrestling Academy to provide elite training to a small group of dedicated kids. The program has since blossomed under his direction, and his passion has helped grow The Wrestling Academy into one of the elite wrestling schools in the country.

Matthew Rundell
2015 IHSA State Champion, 2011 Greco-Roman World Team member, 2x Fargo All-American.
Matthew has been on staff at The Wrestling Academy since 2021. He has been a valuable asset in the room, his expertise with the heavyweights has helped develop numerous wrestlers into National title contenders.
